i am a full-time singer/songwriter and community organizer based in Jamaica Plain, MA. my goal is to use my music as a tool that directly supports movements for social and environmental justice, community self-determination, and liberation for all oppressed living beings.

all of the money that i make doing music is either used for basic living expenses (my partner and I are having a baby in August 2010!) or it gets pumped directly into grassroots community projects in boston or elsewhere. thanks so much to all of you who make this possible with your support through booking shows, donating for downloads and CDs, and sending sweet letters and email.

i'm a femme-y genderqueer trans-identified vegan and I'm terribly excited about things like gender liberation, community emergency response, climate justice, anti-racism, Palestinian liberation, reigniting the labor movement, queer parenting, prison abolition, youth empowerment, and growing food! I offer neat interactive workshops on a variety of topics and would love to come to your school, camp, church, or community center.
